Dr. Jessica Sun is a General Nephrologist currently pursuing a Post-Graduate Fellowship in Renal Supportive Care at Royal Prince Alfred and Concord Hospitals.
A University of Sydney graduate, Jessica holds both a Bachelor of Music Studies and a Doctor of Medicine degree. She completed her Nephrology Advanced Training at Royal Prince Alfred, Concord, Liverpool, and St Vincent's Hospitals, and attained her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Jessica actively contributes to the nephrology community, presenting at conferences such as the TSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting and coordinating networking events as the Young Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology NSW State Convenor. She is a keen advocate for medical education and is a Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney.
This year, Jessica will complete the Clinical Foundation in Palliative Medicine, enhancing her skills in compassionate care and managing patients with complex symptoms and comorbidities.
Jessica’s special interests include renal supportive care, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, and preventative strategies in chronic kidney disease. She is committed to delivering holistic care to her patients to optimise their outcomes and quality of life.
