Dr Lucy Wynter
B.Sc(Hons) MBBS MBioeth FRACP
Lucy is a Clinical Academic Nephrologist and General Physician at Canterbury and Concord Hospitals. She is a Senior Lecturer with the Concord Clinical School, Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney.
She trained at Royal Prince Alfred, Concord and St George hospitals and joined IWRS after obtaining her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2017 under the mentorship of Roger Wyndham.
Lucy is passionate about health equity, inclusiveness and diversity and has pioneered the CKD Stewardship program for early identification and management of CKD as well as the Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy clinic at Canterbury Hospital.
Her particular interests include: hypertension, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, chronic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, cardiorenal syndrome and kidney stones.
Lucy is an LGBTQIA+ ally and familiar with the particular challenges facing patients of a non-english speaking background, welcoming family attendance at all appointments.
