Dr Julian Singer
BMed M.Bioeth FRACP PhD
Dr Julian Singer is a Staff Specialist Renal and Transplant Physician at Liverpool Hospital and Director of Medical Education for the South West Sydney Clinical Campuses at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
Julian completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle, followed by specialist training in nephrology and a fellowship in kidney transplantation. He holds a PhD in transplant immunology and a Master of Bioethics from the University of Sydney.
Julian is actively involved in clinical research and medical education, with research published in leading medical journals and presented at national and international conferences.
In addition to kidney transplantation, Julian has particular interests in hypertension, acute kidney injury, diabetic kidney disease and the management of chronic kidney disease, including dialysis. He has extensive experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions, where treatment decisions often require balancing competing health priorities.
Julian is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centred care, working collaboratively with patients to develop individualised management plans that reflect their cultural needs, personal circumstances, and treatment preferences.
